3KnD presented a special program to help promote the childhood vaccination program to First Nations parents and carers.
Since the Covid-19 Pandemic, childhood immunisation rates for the usual childhood vaccines like measles, diphtheria, hepatitis and polio, have been slipping backwards.
As part of this initiative 3KnD’s Gerry “Gman” Lyons interviewed Victoria’s Chief Aboriginal Health Adviser at the Department of Health & Human Services, Nicole McCartney about what the regular immunisations are from birth to school age and why they are so important for our community to stay healthy, strong, and prepared for their future.
