Born and raised in Sydney, Ben Ransom, started playing guitar and writing songs at the age of fifteen. Growing up, he was constantly exposed to a broad range of music that strongly influences his own original writing style. It has allowed Ben to draw the listener in on many different levels and connect in a more personal way. Ben yarns on 3KND Big brekky.
Have you ever had a holiday romance with someone who was the love of your life, only for them to disappear as quickly as they appeared? That’s the question Ben Ransom is asking in his latest single ‘Night After Night’ off the upcoming album Brave New World. And while love sometimes disappears, this little earworm won’t, thanks to a Latino vibe courtesy of some of the country scene’s top musicians.
‘Night After Night’ is an exciting first taste of the new album, but this is unsurprising given Ransom’s history. He’s opened for Tim McGraw and supported major artists including Diesel, Daryl Braithwaite, Mental as Anything, Ian Moss and Dragon, while also appearing multiple times at festivals including the Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Deni Ute Muster, Country Rocks Sydney and so many more. If it’s a Brave New World he’s holding to Ransom, then we’re okay with it.
