Songlines Are Still Alive: a Gathering on Country celebrating NAIDOC Week 2021 at Bundoora Park. Charles Pakana was the MC introducing a powerful welcome to country with Uncle Bill Nicholson and performance by the Djirri Djirri dancers. The Mayor Lina Messina gave a speech about what NAIDOC means to her and why everyone should celebrate it. Uncle Bill Nicholson then took a heal country walk discussing the importance of culture, the landscape and history of Bundoora Park.
