Transgender Superheroine STARLADY Finds Acceptance in Aboriginal Communities

Remote Aboriginal communities are the last place you might think a transgender superheroine would find true acceptance. However this is exactly what happened for STARLADY. She has previously been a youth worker doing youth based hairdressing and fashion programs spending time in the Western Desert regions. Starlady has built a relationship with some of Australia's remote and challenging places.

She has always been an LBGTIQ+ advocate working towards removing stigma and supporting other LBGTIQ+ queer people. Starlady talks about her own experience with having to face challenges with creative expression despite society telling her something different. She tells us about where she draws her strength and motivation from.
