As Interim Chief Executive Officer Leannestates, I’m leading the Arts Centre Melbourne team through this next transitional period by taking a people and wellbeing approach.
Having established confidence and trust in my role as Chief People Officer and as a trusted advisor to the Board and Government, and member of the Executive team, my leadership value is about being able to maintain a strategic and operational focus in new and complex environments and to deliver on our well thought through business plans.
The past two years has been nothing but complex and as the arts sector recovers from the long tail of the pandemic. Arts Centre Melbourne looks to our future with the transformation of the Melbourne Arts Centre Precinct, and our recently launched five-year strategy with a focus on First Nations and Equity and Inclusion.
I’m proud to be steering ACM through this transition, and thrilled and humbled to be working with the many incredible people and communities from within Victoria beginning with First Nations people, and the rich diverse groups and individuals who are the ‘people of Victoria’ whom we are here to serve. I love uplifting and developing a high performing team with the organisational values of Equity, Care More, Creativity, Leadership and Community central to my approach.
