What an amazing day today, Worawa Aboriginal College had their Reconciliation Sports Carnival - Be A Voice For Generations.
With students from surrounding schools taking part in Basketball, Football, Netball, Volleyball and 3x3 tournaments.
The school was vibrant with lots of activities and competitions. The first AFL match was between Yarra Valley Grammar Vs Upper Yarra SC. The 2nd AFL match was Worawa vs Beaconhills.
It was great to see so many schools come together, share culture, play sports and have fun celebrating reconciliation week.
3KND had a great view of the footy oval and neighbouring mountains in the distance, such a beautiful sight.

Worawa is celebrating 40 years and strives to development leadership in pathways. Giving students the opportunity and understanding of different activities like team building, work experience and training for a better future.
We can’t wait to visit again and see what the students will be up to in the lead up to their graduation. Thank you to all the teachers, students, volunteers and staff.
The highlight was seeing the kids have a big dance off to end the day with DJ Congo playing some deadly tunes.
